On the evening of the 6th September, we welcomed over 220 of the UK’s most prominent Life Science executives to the 2016 Biotech and Money Assembly and Awards Gala Dinner at London’s Gibson Hall.
We were supported by EY, Clinigen, RSA and Hume Brophy as the evening’s official Awards Sponsors and the chosen charity for the evening was the UK Sepsis Trust
The evening was held to recognise and celebrate the funding, finance and investment successes across the UK Life Science sector over the last 12 months, with 7 Awards up for grabs, categories focused on start-ups, private and publicly listed corporates.
The evening commenced with a 1.5hr Champagne reception in the Garden rooms followed by a 3-course seated Dinner and live polling between courses.
Ron Daniels, the Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust provided a very poignant presentation on the work being carried out by this grass roots Charity and the massive impact that Sepsis is having on healthcare across the UK, with attendees kindly asked to donate to this worthy cause.
The business end of the evening culminated in the Awards Ceremony that provided unique live peer-to-peer voting for the award categories. All 220 executives voted electronically on the evening’s finalists with the winners being announced in real-time.
